Welcome to Victory Hope Children's Centre

In order to help the children of Kibera, in the year 2000 Victor Adams decided to establish a school: the Victory Hope Children's Center. Victor felt, along with his wife, called by God to go settle in Kibera, to give support to the poorest.

He has started on a completely voluntary basis, with full reliance on God. This faith in God has been confirmed and God has not failed to meet the needs of the Centre through various channels. Thus, the school that he started with only one class of about twenty children over the years has grown into a school with over 300 children and a staff of 18 (including 13 teachers).

His goal is to provide the children with food (at least one meal per day. They often do not receive this even in their own home). They also provide school uniforms, the necessary materials and a basic education. The teachers in the school all live all in the slums, so this helps them to work.

Victor Adams

Victor Adams is pastor of a small Christian church in a large slum in the Kenyan capital Nairobi, called Kibera. In addition, he runs in this district primary 'Victory Hope Children Center. He does this work, together with his wife and some teachers from a strong love relationship with the children. This is evidenced by the fact that his work receives no salary, and even for all work related expenses is dependent on occasional donations.
